Michael Caughran has served several years as a USAF SERE Instructor. He graduated selection with distinction, was blessed to be a member of the only team in SERE tech school history with zero quitters and spent much of his time in service as a trainer and developer of other SERE instructors.

Michael's passion for freedom and serving others has led him to pursue a career equipping others with the skills and confidence they need to thrive as families and patriots. 

Michael was raised in the proud American traditions of liberty, personal responsibility and civic duty. It is a deep passion for him that he now shares with his wife, Katrinity. Together, they intend to pass on those traditions to their future children. 

Outside of military service he’s founded a ghillie suit manufacturing company, managed a training academy and helped develop tactics, techniques and procedures in advanced field skills and personal protection currently in use by military, law enforcement and civilians. 

He has an associates degree for Survival Instructor through the Community Collage of the Air Force and has numerous certificates including,

 Ralph has worked extensively with volunteer units, and with local, state, and federal government agencies to develop emergency management plans along with training and response programs. 

These agencies include the Commonwealth of Virginia, the State of Washington, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance (OFDA). 

He helped coordinate the development of the United States’ international disaster response program and has responded to disasters and other emergency incidents across the United States and in several foreign countries. 

Ralph has served as the Virginia State Search and Rescue Coordinator and as a Flight Paramedic with the Virginia State Police. He was a contractor with U. S. Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operations, and with the United States Coast Guard where he taught air crew survival. 

He currently teaches air crew survival for volunteer and private organizations. He is also a Bible teacher and writes about and teaches both practical and spiritual preparation for the uncertain times in which we live. 

He recently retired as a police officer in Washington State but continues to work in emergency management, wilderness survival and community preparedness. 

Ralph has been a Wilderness First Responder Instructor, a certified rescue diver, and a pilot. Memberships have included the Airborne Public Safety Association, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the National Association for Search and Rescue, the Civil Air Patrol and the Wilderness Medical Society. Ralph is also an amateur radio operator: K7PBA. 

In alignment with our spirit of adventure and service, Michael, Lucas, Ralph and Mike often donate their time to the betterment of others by volunteering in their local church, community and neighbors. It's a joy for them to give back to their community whenever the opportunity presents itself.

We give our Lord and Savior, King Jesus all the glory for saving our souls and giving us life more abundantly. Without Him, our perspective grows dark and terrible, but with him, there is nothing we can’t achieve, no mountain we can’t climb, no battle we can’t win, no challenge without a great and brilliant hope. He makes our lives beautiful and meaningful. He deserves all the glory and although none of our courses are specifically religious, we want to be intentional to thank Him for all He is and does for us.

At American Reconstruction Concepts, our vision is to inspire and educate and enable people in the same spirit as our forefathers at the beginning of our great country. We realize that freedom isn't free and besides the duty of each generation to stand up and protect it, there is also the responsibility to educate the next generation of the great inheritance, principles and freedoms that we enjoy but are being eroded by ignorance and enemies of the cause of liberty.
